Mark Walton’s background includes 30 years of work in the corporate travel industry.

In 2023, Walton co-founded Solutions Travel, a full service Travel Management Company developed to help solve the longstanding problem of legacy technology while maintaining the core elements of proactive travel management. Solutions will operate exclusively on the highly regarded Spotnana tech stack, allowing customers direct access to suppliers around the world.

Walton has served in numerous executive positions within the industry as a partner in the expense management company, Workflow Solutions; co-founder of Consulting Strategies, where he assisted large multinational companies such as Microsoft and General Motors with travel management; was Vice President of Strategy and Account Management at Orbitz for Business; and most recently Executive Vice President at Options Travel.

Mark is often quoted in the travel industry press and has delivered numerous presentations at GBTA and ACTE on such topics as globalization, agency/corporate financial modelling, airline distribution methods, expense management systems, travel policy, and corporate travel procurement strategies.
